The game
On a small paradise island, the mysterious Mafagafos are found, curious birds that are incapable of flying but are extremely adaptable and smart. For these birds, competition is what matters. From racing to jumping over obstacles, you can expect anything.
The end goal for them is to be the best. For each round, the challenge is chosen at random from those available for the season. The maps have unique difficulties, routes, and surprises making players adapt to new situations.
Currently, there are five maps available:
Obstacle Course: in this map, players need to get to the end of the circuit by dodging as many obstacles as they can. In the beginning, the players should try to run around the corners, run in the passage between platforms to the ball one, and jump and glide using the double spacebar. In spinning hammer obstacles, players can stand in the middle of it, and they will go around you and not knock you down.
Hive: In the hive, the ground below you will break whenever you step over it. The building has 6 floors to go down, until at the end of it all when falling into the water, the player is eliminated. Always try to stay as high as possible, use the belly jump, use the shift key only in life or death situations, and if you are skilled, you can try jumping “from floor to floor”, so it will take a little longer to break.
Waterslide: In waterslide, players have to slide down and be the first at the finish line. But to get there they’ll have to glide around obstacles, jump barriers, get speed bursts, swim through pools and leap across platforms.
Sunflower: On this map, strategy is very necessary as the player’s objective is to jump onto the platforms at the right time and position.
Ship: Players are required to start from the ship and be the first on the beach. All of that will include jumping through moving obstacles, and platforms, balancing on the tightrope, avoiding punches, and swimming to the finish line.
Genesis Mafagafo
The Genesis Mafagafos is composed of 7,117 unique and collectible NFTs that will be the only ones to give access to the mint of future collections which includes: Genesis Lands, Accessories, The next Mafagafo Collections, and all other upcoming NFTs in the Ecosystem.
They are also the only ones you can use to compete in the racing Game Mode, where Mafagafos can run without the need to sleep for 24 hours. Other than that, the Genesis Collection is the only way into monthly Tournaments and the Mafagafo World Championships.
